Research
Willie is a postdoctoral scholar in Computer Science at Stanford University. He works on algorithms and systems to help scale and automate machine learning. His interests include distributed inference, AutoML, computer vision, computational biology, materials science, high energy physics, and analysis of text and network data. He also works on sequential decision making under uncertainty, which he applies to problems in science and engineering.
