Sara Miskovich

Research Associate Accelerator

Research:

Sara is a research associate at SLAC, working with Daniel Ratner in the ML Initiative and Auralee Edelen in the Accelerator Directorate. She works on the autonomous controls of accelerators and other beamlines. Her main work has been on applying machine learning to tune electron beam properties such as beam emittance in LCLS and FACET-II. She completed her Ph.D. at Michigan State University, where she was advised by Hendrik Schatz and worked on the commissioning of a next-generation recoil separator for nuclear astrophysics.
